From a letter to Islington Council and politicians

• I AM writing to object to the council’s plan for the Barnsbury and Laycock area.

Already I am struggling to keep my business going and compete with larger companies.

If you carry out your plan, my clients from other boroughs will have difficulty getting through the traffic to visit my shop.

Deliveries will also take much longer, both to the shop and to visit my clients.

If Caledonian Road becomes a boundary road the traffic and pollution would increase, affecting not only my health but also that of my colleagues.

I am very worried and concerned about your plan, which will impact not only my business and health but also thousands of residents and business owners.
