Archway Bridge
• SAFETY work at Archway Bridge, the so-called “suicide bridge”, is not going to stop suicides as people will just find somewhere else – what is needed is proper mental health care.
There should be walk-in clinics at suitable sites where people can see a doctor or psychiatrist quickly. And hospital beds should be available at all times, and available near patients’ homes. Mental health should be treated like cancer.
