We objected to plans for this fuel pump, but others did not know

• COULD there be a link between the failure, on Islington Council’s part, to inform the Yerbury Primary School of the planning application to install a fuel pump for an Ocado warehouse, with lorries going round 24 hours a day, next to the school, and the St George’s ward by-election?

We who live in Wedmore Gardens were informed, and objected. The parents of the kids who would be most affected by the air pollution and danger of explosion were not.

An Ocado warehouse fire in February 2019 in Andover, Hampshire, saw residents evacuated (www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-47168430). Parents may well have chosen not to vote Labour in the by-election.
