• SUNDAY June 14 sees the third anniversary of the Grenfell tower fire.

St James Church in Prebend Street will join with other churches across London to remember the disaster, and we will be chiming our Sanctus Bell 72 times on Sunday at 6pm. One chime for each of the 72 people who died.

And at 6.03pm there will be a two-minute silence as we remember those who died and pray for those affected.

We are unable to ring our tower bells at present, as churches are closed, but we have permission to chime the Sanctus Bell on this occasion.

St James Tower Captain
