A GROUP of parents are looking to raise £15,000 to help plant and look after 200 trees.

They are being donated to campaign group Islington Clean Air Parents by Forest for Change, which currently has an installation on show at Somerset House.

Children from Hugh Myddelton School in Angel visited the display this week.

The project aims to plant the trees in housing estates, under-used open spaces and street tree pits.

Founder Lucy Facer said:  “The trees will help green our streets, housing estates and schools, increasing children’s access to much-needed greenery and the health benefits offered.”
