• I AM curious about the letter from Dave Poyser, (Now is not the time for Labour to split, May 3).

Since Sir Keir Starmer became leader of the Labour Party there has been a record number of expulsions and suspensions of LP members and a great number of resignations.

He praises Jeremy Corbyn for the good, loyal, Labour MP he has been for 40 years, but apparently feels he should not split the party by continuing in this role!

He is right about one thing; Jeremy Corbyn has been, and continues to be, an outstanding, dedicated, MP and his constituents will expect to see him continue is this role.

I look forward to voting for Jeremy Corbyn in the next election under whatever label he chooses. He will still be the hardworking, available, MP he has always been for North Islington.
