Who will pay for this waste of money?

The ‘ill-conceived’ Marble Arch Mound
• I SEE that the Westminster City Council deputy leader has had to apologise and has resigned over wasting taxpayers’ money on the ill-conceived Marble Arch Mound project, which tripled in costs to more than £6million.
This contrasts with the current scenario taking place within our own borough. Islington Council budgeted less than £2million for its new development on Windsor Street.
Over three years, after granting itself planning permission for this scheme, it has not yet been built. But I understand costs have more than tripled.
It seems that our council are incapable of managing a project of this nature so that it is on time and within budget. Who in the council is going to apologise and resign over this gross waste of taxpayers’ money?
