• WHO’S going to do all this sex and relationship teaching in schools which two councillors advocate? (Protect all our children, February 24).

Teachers? I imagine many teachers have messy personal and private lives. School nurses? I’d guess that, thanks to austerity, they’re in short supply and already have an ample workload.

How receptive are pupils going to be? Thoughtful and intelligent pupils probably don’t need even more sex education whereas yobbish, violent teens are disinclined to learn anything.
