• I WOULD like to protest via your letters page about the removal of the bookcase from Archway station some months ago.

I tried writing to the Northern line but never received a reply. There are bookcases in at least two other Northern line stations, Highgate and Clapham North, so why can’t they return the Archway one and reply to my message?

Regarding the “reasons” given for the removal, I saw religious material at the Clapham North one so this seems to me “discrimination”.
