Appeal for witnesses after incident at the junction between Seven Sisters Road and Isledon Road

FLOWERS have been laid out for a woman who was killed in a road traffic accident in Finsbury Park.

Police continue to appeal for witnesses and information after the incident took place at the junction between Seven Sisters Road and Isledon Road on Wednesday May 20.

Officers were called to the scene at around 12.53pm following reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a lorry.

The woman was declared dead at the scene, and enquiries are ongoing to identify her and trace her next of kin.

The Met said that at this stage no arrests have been made. The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting them with their enquiries.

The Met said that while they try to build up a full picture of the incident, they are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has any relevant information about it, particularly CCTV or dashcam footage.
