ISLINGTON celebrated the white stuff in style this week after more than two inches of snow fell overnight on Sunday.

While a number of schools across the borough were closed, children made the most of the icy temperatures, with one group of friends from St Mary Magdalene Academy in Liverpool Road, Highbury, preparing for their mock exams by taking their sleigh to Highbury Fields.
