Cyclists running red lights: ‘The problem seems to be getting worse’

• I ALSO would like to comment about cyclists behaving badly, (Letters, January 14).

I have lost count of the number of times I have nearly been knocked down by a cyclist because they have gone through a red light.

I have complained to Islington Council many times, but they have done nothing about it. The problem seems to be getting worse.

If a motorist goes through a red light they get into trouble. Why can’t the same apply to cyclists?
