Can Islington Council redeem themselves by banning barbecues on Highbury Fields?
• AN interesting issue of the Tribune on October 4, the council preening themselves over a job “well done”, and the letters saying what a mess they’ve made of it.
However they can redeem themselves by banning barbecues on Highbury Fields and designate the new open space as the barbecue centre for Islington.
Grease-laden smoke can mix with the traffic pollution, fall to the ground and be washed away in the next cloud-burst and be buried under the mud in the Thames, which, according to global warning pundits, will never run dry.
