Use of UCS playing fields would be good

• HERE in West Hampstead we have always been short of public open space. Now with people exercising near to home because of the lockdown, our lack of space is very obvious.

Fortune Green, the cemetery (thankfully reopened to the public) and a narrow path through fields is about all we have.

There is open space adjacent to that narrow path. It’s the playing fields of University College School, which are closed to the public. As we try to avoid each other on the narrow path, people gaze at these open fields.

Could UCS take pity on West Hampstead residents trying to avoid Covid-19 and open up their fields for the duration? It would surely fit with their charitable status and perform a valuable service for the health of the public.
